National Biodiversity Parks, Inc. (NBP) has two programs that inform citizens, consumers, tourists, purchasing agents, shareholders, etc. that biodiversity is being considered and protected by the featured company or public department.

A governmental department or an individual public project can be audited by NBP or its partners to receive the right to display our special SEAL. A company’s product or the entire company’s operations can be audited by NBP or its partners to receive the right to display our special SEAL. The SEAL signifies that the entity has met specific standards important to sustainability and the preservation of biodiversity.

Receiving the SEAL will allow NBP to write in our Journal and tell the public, conservationists, our partners and members about the receiving company or product meeting NBP’s standards on protecting biodiversity. The company will be authorized to use the SEAL on their project, departmental or company announcements, websites, product packaging, etc. Sentences under the SEAL explaining to the public what your company has achieved to be awarded it, will also be authorized.

Government Departments – Government Departments such as the Departments of Environment, Parks, Resources, Conservation, Planning, Development, Transportation, Public Works, Recycling, Recreation, Tourism, etc. and their individual events, initiatives or projects can apply for the program. Departments can receive authorization to use the Certified SEAL (for an individual project or initiative) or Verified SEAL (the entire Department and its current projects and initiatives).

Forests – Businesses and products such as logging, mills, lumber, paper, pulp etc. can be Certified (for an individual product) or Verified (the entire company and all its products).

Farms – Farms and their products can be Certified (for an individual product) or Verified (the entire farm and all its products).

Tourism – Tourism firms and their individual tours can be Certified (for an individual tour or lodge) or Verified (the entire firm and all its tours and lodges).

Transportation – Transportation firms and one of their individual divisions or operations in a single country can be Certified (for a single division or single country) or Verified (the entire firm, all divisions and countries).
